To help us understand the politics of the Middle East better, we are inviting Gamal M. Selim, an author, foreign policy expert, and professor of political science at the British University of Egypt and the University of Port Said. Additionally, attendees can listen to Vasif Huseynov of the Center for Analysis of International Relations in Baku, Azerbaijan, discuss global power politics and South Caucasus geopolitics. To help illuminate the diplomatic nature of foreign policy, we have invited Suay Nilhan Acikalin of Turkey's Hacı Bayram Veli University to discuss her own experiences and expertise.
Covering environmental policy, we have Johan Gardebo, a contemporary climate transitions policy expert and fellow at the Cambridge Centre for History and Economics.
Economic issues facing Europe and the world will be discussed by renowned experts like Varun Mittal, Head of Innovation and Ecosystem at Singlife, Thorsten Lambertus, Managing Director of Institute for Deep Tech Innovation at ESMT Berlin, and Stefano da Empoli, Political Analyst and President of I-Com.
To tackle the thorny issue of uncontrolled migration and what is the proper response, Eric Ruark, Director of Research and Public Relations for NumbersUSA, and Nicolas Monti, Director and Co-founder of the OID Think-Tank, will join us to discuss their own respective countries' responses to migration and how it should be handled in the 21st century.
