David Smiló is an architect and co-founder of Paradigma Ariadné, a lecturer at Budapest Metropolitan University, and co-curator of the Hungarian Pavilion at the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale. He is the author of numerous architectural articles and publications and has edited several architectural books. His research interests focus on the history of the profession, communication, and ideas in post-war European and transatlantic architecture, with a special emphasis on the architecture of former socialist countries. As the managing director of Paradigma Ariadné, he is actively involved in architectural projects that utilize unique architectural solutions and theoretical approaches.
