Sándor Seremet earned his degree in history from Uzhhorod National University in 2010. In the same year, he was admitted to the Doctoral School of Historical Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, where he completed his studies in 2013. Between 2013 and 2014, he worked as a historian at the House of Terror Museum. He defended his doctoral dissertation in 2016 at PPKE BTK, focusing on the formation of the current borders of Transcarpathia after the end of World War I. From 2020, he served as an external expert at the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade. Since November 2022, he has been an expert at the Eurasia Center of Neumann János University, and from 2023, a lead researcher at the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade. His research areas include Ukraine, Russia, Transcarpathia, and the economic and political processes of post-Soviet countries. He is also the Secretary-General of the Transcarpathian Association.
