János Kele is an economist and the General Director of the Budapest Enterprise Development Public Foundation, a former board member of the Momentum Movement, and a football writer for 24.hu. He earned his master's degree in International Economics and Business from the University of Debrecen and later attended the Doctoral School of Political Science at Corvinus University of Budapest. He is also a graduate of the first cohort of the "Career Program for Nations of Europe" at the National University of Public Service.
Since 2010, János Kele has been a regular contributor to the Hungarian sports press. Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as an analyst for English Premier League matches broadcast on Spíler TV, but he left the channel for political reasons. Since 2017, he has been a writer for 24.hu and, from 2019, the host of the site's weekly football podcast "Ziccer," which was nominated for an Online Video-Audio Award (OVA) by the professional journal Kreatív in the "Thematic Series" category in 2021. This year, he launched his own newsletter on 24.hu.
Between 2022 and 2023, he was a member of the national board of the Momentum Movement, but he left the party in April 2024. Currently, he serves as the General Director of the Budapest Enterprise Development Public Foundation, the creator of the Smart Budapest Community business development program, and the founder of the Smart Budapest Forum conference series.
