Anna Karády completed her schooling in Balatonfüred and pursued higher education in Budapest, earning a Law Degree from Pázmány Péter Catholic University’s Faculty of Law and Political Sciences. After graduating, she initially focused on scientific and professional writing, but her creative literary career began with the historical novel The Girl from Füred, published in 2021. This was her first major work beyond teenage poetry.
In terms of academic achievements, Karády passed the Bar Exam in 2019 with a grade of 'Good' (4). During her university years, she received first place at the Faculty Scientific Student Conference in 2010 for her paper on civil law and a special award at the National Scientific Student Conference in 2011 for her research on "The Contracts of General Practitioners and Issues of Transferable Practice Rights as Property Rights," which was published in Health Economics Review.
Her professional career includes roles such as Legal Expert at the National Hospital Directorate from 2020 to 2022, Chief Government Advisor at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology between 2018 and 2019, and positions at the Pest County Government Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She also served as Chief of Cabinet for the Kincsem National Horse Program at the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice and as a Legal Officer and Codifier at the Ministry of National Resources.
Anna Karády’s literary work continued with the novella Gypsy Life in Aristocratic Style and the sequel The Landowner from Füred. The Füred series concluded with The Child from Füred, published in the summer of 2022. In 2023, she released the Zserbó series, a duology that delves into the "golden age" of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Her forthcoming novel, The Patron, set in the 15th-16th centuries, is expected to be released this fall.
