Linguist, researcher, university lecturer, and Member of the European Parliament for Fidesz-KDNP. Born in 1984 near Uzhhorod, close to the Slovak-Ukrainian-Hungarian tri-border area. Viktória Ferenc earned her degree in English and History from the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education in 2006 and later obtained her PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Pécs. As part of the Hungarian Public Administration Scholarship Program, she worked for the State Secretariat for National Policy at the Prime Minister's Office, and subsequently spent 11 years as a senior researcher at the Institute for National Policy Research. Since 2020, Viktória has been an associate professor at the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education and has authored numerous publications. In addition to Hungarian and Ukrainian, she speaks fluent Spanish and English.
