Eric Ruark is the Director of Research and Public Relations for NumbersUSA, the largest single-issue advocacy organization in the United States. NumbersUSA was founded in 1996 to implement the recommendations of two federal commissions and is dedicated to reducing overall immigration to the United States to protect American workers and to preserve the nation's national resources. His current work deals with the environmental effects of immigration-driven population growth in the U.S., and the history of immigration to the U.S. in the context of contemporary policy debates.
