Anton Bendarzsevszkij completed his studies at the University of Pécs in media and communication as well as history, and studied political science at the University of Leicester in the UK. For seven years, he was the section editor of the Kitekintő foreign policy news portal. He worked in the private sector and led the geopolitical foundation and its research institute at the Hungarian National Bank for four years. From 2020 to 2022, he first led the geopolitical research group at the Danube Institute and then served as the organization's research director. Since June 2022, he has been the director of the Oeconomus Economic Research Foundation. He is a regular external contributor to the Index news portal and a guest author for the Mandiner weekly magazine. Additionally, he frequently appears as a foreign policy expert across a broad spectrum of Hungarian media. His main research area is the security policy of the post-Soviet region.
